Travis O’Berry
Travis O'Berry is a Gas Transportation Analyst who has worked for Dominion since 2008. He holds a B.A. degree in Advertising & Public Relations and is close to completing requirements for an online MBA degree from Liberty University.
"My job is fairly technical," Travis explains. "I monitor and confirm natural gas receipts and deliveries to our customers. But I also have to explain company policies, tariff provisions and transportation procedures to our customers. That's where my public relations background comes into play. Maintaining and strengthening those relationships is very important."
Travis continues: "I really like the way each day brings something different at work. And I appreciate the company's flexibility about supporting employee involvement in the community. The paid time-off policy for volunteering is great. I have used it to participate in Meals on Wheels and help out at a local food bank. The most interesting volunteer project I have worked on was the freshwater marsh restoration project at our Cove Point facility on the Chesapeake Bay. The sea grasses we planted will help protect many species of plants and wildlife."
